Facebook gets your personal data? Again? Surprised? Not me.

About a month ago I was checking my Google docs.  Don’t get me wrong, I like Google docs, I keep a bunch of junk docs up there on their servers.

To my surprise, in my recently opened docs list was a file I had completely forgotten about.  It had been years since I looked at it.  There are lots of reasons that it could have shown up in that list, a lot of them legitimate.  But it reminded me that it is easy for the people who manage the servers that house my data to see whatever they want to see.

A long time ago, I learned what fiduciary meant.  I have watched technical people be less than honorable with data.  But they don’t understand the fiduciary nature of what they do.

Take a look at the Wall Street Journal Article on Facebook getting your data from other apps.  I was not surprised at all.

An impressive share, I simply given this onto a colleague who was doing just a little analysis on this. And he in reality purchased me breakfast because I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the deal with! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to debate this, I really feel strongly about it and love studying extra on this topic. If possible, as you grow to be experience, would you thoughts updating your weblog with extra details? It’s highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post!
