Wall Street Journal Reports Regulators Checking Super Max8 Approval

The questions that are being asked of Boeing and the FAA’s approval process are questions that need to be asked in business processes every day.  I have always spoken to the reliability of relying on data without human oversight and diligence.  I guess it is no big deal when reporting a number that is off by .001%.  Maybe a 1% error in data reporting could be inconsequential.

Taking automation to the point of putting lives at stake if errors are made is irresponsible.  Hurrying to proclaim victory before due diligence is done reminds me of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos.  Even though no lives were lost, ask the investors who lost it all investing in Theranos what they think.
